RESUMEN

Data on emergency endoscopic treatment following endotracheal intubation in patients with esophagogastric variceal bleeding (EGVB) remain limited. This retrospective study aimed to explore the efficacy and risk factors of bedside emergency endoscopic treatment following endotracheal intubation in severe EGVB patients admitted in Intensive Care Unit. A total of 165 EGVB patients were enrolled and allocated to training and validation sets in a randomly stratified manner. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to identify independent risk factors to construct nomograms for predicting the prognosis related to endoscopic hemostasis failure rate and 6-week mortality. In result, white blood cell counts (p = 0.03), Child-Turcotte-Pugh (CTP) score (p = 0.001) and comorbid shock (p = 0.005) were selected as independent clinical predictors of endoscopic hemostasis failure. High CTP score (p = 0.003) and the presence of gastric varices (p = 0.009) were related to early rebleeding after emergency endoscopic treatment. Furthermore, the 6-week mortality was significantly associated with MELD scores (p = 0.002), the presence of hepatic encephalopathy (p = 0.045) and postoperative rebleeding (p < 0.001). Finally, we developed practical nomograms to discern the risk of the emergency endoscopic hemostasis failure and 6-week mortality for EGVB patients. In conclusion, our study may help identify severe EGVB patients with higher hemostasis failure rate or 6-week mortality for earlier implementation of salvage treatments.

RESUMEN

Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury (CIRI) occurs frequently clinically as a complication following cardiovascular resuscitation resulting in neuronal damage specifically to the hippocampal CA1 region with consequent cognitive impairment. Apoptosis and oxidative stress were proposed as major risk factors associated with CIRI development. Previously, glycosides obtained from Cistanche deserticola (CGs) were shown to play a key role in counteracting CIRI; however, the underlying mechanisms remain to be determined. This study aimed to investigate the neuroprotective effect of CGs on subsequent CIRI in rats. The model of CIRI was established for 2 hr and reperfusion for 24 hr by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) model. The MCAO rats were used to measure the antioxidant and anti-apoptotic effects of CGs on CIRI. Neurological function was evaluated by the Longa neurological function score test. 2,3,5-Triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) staining was used to detect the area of cerebral infarction. Nissl staining was employed to observe neuronal morphology. TUNEL staining was used to detect neuronal apoptosis, while Western blot determined protein expression levels of factors for apoptosis-related and PI3K/AKT/Nrf2 signaling pathway. Data demonstrated that CGs treatment improved behavioral performance, brain injury, and enhanced antioxidant and anti-apoptosis in CIRI rats. In addition, CGs induced activation of PI3K/AKT/Nrf2 signaling pathway accompanied by inhibition of the expression of apoptosis-related factors. Evidence indicates that CGs amelioration of CIRI involves activation of the PI3K/AKT/Nrf2 signaling pathway associated with increased cellular viability suggesting these glycosides may be considered as an alternative compound for CIRI treatment.

RESUMEN

Background: Floating-Harbor syndrome (FHS) is a rare autosomal dominant inherited disease characterized primarily by short stature, delayed language development, and typical facial features. There are currently few case reports, diagnoses and treatments for these syndromes at home and abroad. Case Description: This study reports a case of a boy with "growth and language development delay" as the predominant clinical manifestation. FHS was clinically diagnosed based on his growth hormone (GH) deficiency, significant bone age delay, left testicular hydrocele, and the whole exon gene in peripheral blood, which indicated heterozygous mutation of SRCAP gene. Following the treatment with recombinant human GH (rhGH), the child exhibited height increase benefits, and his articulation improved after language therapy. Conclusion: Genetic testing facilitates early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of the FHS. Additionally, treatment with rhGH effectively increases the height of these children, and language rehabilitation is especially important for their language development.

RESUMEN

Wellcomia compar (Spirurina: Oxyuridae) is a pinworm that infects wild and captive porcupines. Despite clear records of its morphological structure, its genetics, systematics, and biology are poorly understood. This study aimed to determine the complete mitochondrial (mt) genome of W. compar and reconstruct its phylogenetic relationship with other nematodes. We sequenced the complete mt genome of W. comparand conducted phylogenetic analyses using concatenated coding sequences of 12 protein-coding genes (PCGs) by maximum likelihood and Bayesian inference. The complete mt genome is 14,373 bp in size and comprises 36 genes, including 12 protein-coding, two rRNA and 22 tRNA genes. Apart from 28 intergenic regions, one non-coding region and one overlapping region also occur. A comparison of the gene arrangements of Oxyuridomorpha revealed relatively similar features in W. compar and Wellcomia siamensis. Phylogenetic analysis also showed that W. compar and W. siamensis formed a sister group. In Oxyuridomorpha the genetic distance between W. compar and W. siamensis was 0.0805. This study reports, for the first time, the complete W. compar mt genome sequence obtained from Chinese porcupines. It provides genetic markers for investigating the taxonomy, population genetics, and phylogenetics of pinworms from different hosts and has implications for the diagnosis, prevention, and control of parasitic diseases in porcupines and other animals.

RESUMEN

This study aims to determine the optimal strategy and driving factors of the critical nodes of pesticide packaging waste recycling by constructing the recycling process of "village collection-town transport-county management." Counties, towns, and villages are the central nodes of collection, coordination, and communication in the recycling process. Their strategy selection and influencing factor analysis are related to the development of recycling. The county processing center, township transit center, and village recycling center were selected to construct a game model, and strategy and parameter assumptions were made to obtain the optimal strategy combination. The results showed that strict supervision, professional transportation and strict implementation are the best strategies for counties, towns and villages, respectively. Simulation analysis confirmed that factors such as cost, reward restricted the strategy selection of each subject. The higher the supervision, transport, and input costs, the lower the enthusiasm of counties, towns, and villages to participate in recycling, respectively. Reasonable control of reward could help each participant choose a stable strategy. The study provided the idea of a pilot before promotion for the government and emphasized the importance of controlling incentive policies and relative costs to improve the recycling process of pesticide packaging waste.

RESUMEN

Aqueous zinc-metal batteries (AZMBs) have received tremendous attentions due to their high safety, low cost, environmental friendliness, and simple process. However, zinc-metal still suffer from uncontrollable dendrite growth and surface parasitic reactions that reduce the Coulombic efficiency (CE) and lifetime of AZMBs. These problems which are closely related to the active water are not well-solved. Here, an ultrathin crack-free metal-organic framework (ZIF-7x -8) with rigid sub-nanopore (0.3 nm) is constructed on Zn-metal to promote the de-solvation of zinc-ions before approaching Zn-metal surface, reduce the contacting opportunity between water and Zn, and consequently eliminate water-induced corrosion and side-reactions. Due to the presence of rigid and ordered sub-nanochannels, Zn-ions deposits on Zn-metal follow a highly ordered manner, resulting in a dendrite-free Zn-metal with negligible by-products, which significantly improve the reversibility and lifespan of Zn-metals. As a result, Zn-metal protected by ultrathin crack-free ZIF-7x -8 layer exhibits excellent cycling stability (over 2200 h) and extremely-high 99.96% CE during 6000 cycles. The aqueous PANI-V2 O5 //ZIF-7x -8@Zn full-cell preserves 86% high-capacity retention even after ultra-long 2000 cycles. The practical pouch-cell can also be cycled for more than 120 cycles. It is believed that the simple strategy demonstrated in this work can accelerate the practical utilizations of AZMBs.

RESUMEN

INTRODUCTION: The etiology of Parkinson's disease (PD) is still unknown. Until now, oxidative stress and neuroinflammation play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of PD. However, the specific synergistic role of oxidative stress and neuroinflammation in the occurrence and development of PD remains unclear. METHODS: The changes in motor behavior, dopamine (DA) neurons quantification and their mitochondrial respiratory chain, glial cells activation and secreted cytokines, Nrf2 signaling pathway, and redox balance in the brain of rats were evaluated. RESULTS: Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced neuroinflammation and rotenone (ROT)-induced oxidative stress synergistically aggravated motor dysfunction, DA neuron damage, activation of glial cells, and release of related mediators, activation of Nrf2 signaling and destruction of oxidative balance. In addition, further studies indicated that after ROT-induced oxidative stress caused direct damage to DA neurons, LPS-induced inflammatory effects had stronger promoting neurotoxic effects on the above aspects. CONCLUSIONS: Neuroinflammation and oxidative stress synergistically aggravated DA neuronal loss. Furtherly, oxidative stress followed by neuroinflammation caused more DA neuronal loss than neuroinflammation followed by oxidative stress.

RESUMEN

Purpose: The effective relief of muscle spasticity requires prompt solutions in rehabilitation medicine. This study aimed to reveal that the highest region of muscle spindle abundance is the optimal target of botulinum toxin A (BTX-A) injections for relieve muscle spasm. Methods: Sixty adult, male Sprague-Dawley rats with lower limbs spasm caused by stroke after modeling, weighing (200 ± 20) g, were included in this study. The modelrats were divided into four groups: muscle spasm model group (group A), model rats treated with BTX-A injections into the middle of the muscle belly (group B), model rats treated with BTX-A injections into the center of the intramuscular nerve-dense region (INDR) (group C), and model rats treated with BTX-A injection into the center of the highest region of muscle spindle abundance (HRMSA) (group D). Groups B, C, and D were further divided into two subgroups: the 3rd and 6th days after BTX-A injection. The rats in each group were assigned modified Ashworth scale scores (MAS), and the changes in gastrocnemius muscle tone, wet muscle weight, and cross-sectional area of muscle fiber were detected. Results: Muscle spindle abundance was the highest in the upper part of the INDR. Group B experienced no significant changes in MAS, muscle tone, wet muscle weight, or cross-sectional area of the muscle fiber. Conversely, groups C and D experienced a decrease in these indicators. Group C experienced the most significant decrease in wet muscle weight and cross-sectional area of muscle fibers. Group D experienced the most notable decrease in MAS and muscle tone. There were no significant differences in the indicators between the 3rd and 6th days after BTX-A injections in group B and there were significant differences in the improvement in the indicators between the two subgroups in groups C and D, with group D experiencing more notable intersubgroup differences. Conclusion: The efficacy of BTX-A injections into the HRMSA is significantly superior to that of conventional BTX-A injections into the middle of the belly muscle or the INDR in the treatment of muscle spasms. Hence, HRMSA should be the optimal target of BTX-A to relieve muscle spasms.

RESUMEN

Objective: To explore the nutritional status of serum fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamin A, 25-hydroxyvitamin D, and vitamin E of minors in the Zhuzhou area to provide a scientific basis for clinical guidance to supplement fat-soluble vitamins reasonably. Method: A total of 6,082 minors who underwent physical examination from January 2017 to February 2019 in the Children's Health Department of Zhuzhou Hospital affiliated with XiangYa School of Medicine of Central South University were selected as the subjects to measure the levels of serum fat-soluble vitamins A, D, and E. Results: (1) Their average levels of serum vitamin A, 25-hydroxyvitamin D, and vitamin E were (0.34 ± 0.08) mg/mL, (34.65 ± 10.24) ng/mL, and (10.11 ± 2.65) mg/mL, respectively. (2) Serum vitamin E showed a gender difference (P < 0.001). (3) The average levels of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D and vitamin E in infancy, early childhood, preschool age, school age, and adolescence decreased gradually (P < 0.05). In contrast, the average level of serum vitamin A ranged between 0.32 mg/mL and 0.37 mg/mL. (4) The age was negatively correlated with serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (r = -0.517, P < 0.001) and weakly negatively correlated with vitamin E (r = -0.366, P < 0.001), but weakly positively correlated with vitamin A (r = 0.269, P < 0.001). Conclusion: Minors from infancy to adolescence in Zhuzhou should strengthen their supplementation of fat-soluble vitamins.

RESUMEN

In order to study the effect of the rainfall infiltration on water migration in compacted loess, a model device was developed for testing water migration in the soil under rainfall conditions. In this study, the volumetric water content and resistivity of soil were introduced into the model test device. This model test device was applied to the study of water migration characteristics in compacted loess under different rainfall conditions. The results show that the resistivity decreases with the increase of the volumetric water content at the same depth of the loess column. In this way, the characteristics of the water migration can also be reflected from the change of the resistivity. There is an intimate relationship between the resistivity and volumetric water content, dry density. The volumetric water content and dry density are normalized by saturation of loess, arriving the equation of saturation against the resistivity. The characteristics of rainfall infiltration in compacted loess show a particular pattern, which demonstrates that, with the increase of dry density of the loess column, the rainfall infiltration line present "Y", "D" and "Λ" shape distribution respectively, under light rain, heavy rain and rainstorm.

RESUMEN

INTRODUCTION: Current studies have documented neuroinflammation is implicated in Parkinson's disease. Recently, growing evidence indicated peripheral inflammation plays an important role in regulation of neuroinflammation and thus conferring protection against dopamine (DA) neuronal damage. However, the underlying mechanisms are not clearly illuminated. METHODS: The effects of intraperitoneal injection of LPS (LPS[i.p.] )-induced peripheral inflammation on substantia nigra (SN) injection of LPS (LPS[SN] )-elicited DA neuronal damage in rat midbrain were investigated. Rats were intraperitoneally injected with LPS (0.5 mg/kg) daily for 4 consecutive days and then given single injection of LPS (8 µg) into SN with an interval of 0 (LPS(i.p.) 0 day ± LPS(SN) ), 30 (LPS(i.p.) 30 days ± LPS(SN) ), and 90 (LPS(i.p.) 90 days ± LPS(SN) ) days after LPS(i.p.) administration. RESULTS: LPS(i.p.) increased the levels of inflammatory factors in peripheral blood in (LPS(i.p.) 0 day ± LPS(SN) ). Importantly, in (LPS(i.p.) 0 day ± LPS(SN) ) and (LPS(i.p.) 30 days ± LPS(SN) ), LPS(i.p.) attenuated LPS(SN) -induced DA neuronal loss in SN. Besides, LPS(i.p.) reduced LPS(SN) -induced microglia and astrocytes activation in SN. Furtherly, LPS(i.p.) reduced pro-inflammatory M1 microglia markers mRNA levels and increased anti-inflammatory M2 microglia markers mRNA levels. In addition, the increased T-cell marker expression and the decreased M1 microglia marker expression and more DA neuronal survival were discerned at the same area of rat midbrain in LPS(SN) -induced DA neuronal damage 30 days after LPS(i.p.) application. CONCLUSION: This study suggested LPS(i.p.) -induced peripheral inflammation might cause T cells to infiltrate the brain to regulate microglia-mediated neuroinflammation, thereby protecting DA neurons.

RESUMEN

Objective: Nephronophthisis (NPHP) is a rare autosomal recessive inherited kidney disease that can cause cystic enlargement of the kidneys, and lead to end-stage renal disease (ESRD) before the age of 30 years. Herein we describe a case of adolescent-onset NPHP with a novel homozygous mutation in the inversin gene (INVS). Methods: The patient was a 15-year-old Chinese boy who presented with ESRD. Genetic testing was performed via whole exome sequencing and validated via Sanger sequencing. A novel homozygous INVS mutation was identified (c. 1909C > T; p. Gln637Ter). Results: The results of laboratory examinations included urinary protein 1.05 g/24 h, urine erythrocyte count 5/high-power field, serum creatinine 1,026.2 µmol/L, and estimated glomerular filtration rate 5.8 ml/min/1.73 mm2. Extrarenal features included hypertension and moderate anemia, and his parents were consanguineous (first cousins). A homozygous 1-bp substitution resulting in a nonsense mutation (c. 1909C > T; p. Gln637Ter) in exon 15 of INVS was detected via whole exome sequencing, and validated via Sanger sequencing. According to the classification system of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, the mutated gene in INVS is strongly pathogenic (PVS1+PM2+PP3+PP5). His parents and a younger brother were heterozygous carriers. Based on the above results he was diagnosed with juvenile type 2 NPHP. He underwent hemodialysis, and received a kidney transplant after 2 months. He is currently recovering well, with a serum creatinine level of 117 µmol/L and an estimated glomerular filtration rate of 79.6 ml/min/1.73 mm2. Conclusion: Here we have described an extremely rare case of adolescent-onset type 2 NPHP caused by a homozygous INVS mutation. The patient had progressed to ESRD by the age of 15 years. The current report will deepen our understanding of the clinical and genetic basis of this disease.

RESUMEN

This article presents shear horizontal surface acoustic wave (SH-SAW) devices with excellent temperature stability and low loss on ultrathin Y42-cut lithium tantalate film on sapphire substrate (LiTaO3-on-sapphire, LTOS). The demonstrated resonators exhibit scalable resonances from 1.76 to 3.17 GHz, effective electromechanical coupling coefficients between 5.1% and 7.6%, and quality factors (Bode-Q) between 419 and 3019. The filter with a center frequency of 3.26 GHz features a suppressed spurious passband, a 3-dB fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 3%, and a minimum insertion loss (IL) of 2.39 dB. In addition, coplanar waveguides (CPWs) and SH-SAW resonators built on LTOS and LiTaO3-on-insulator (LTOI) substrates were compared over a temperature range of 25 °C-150 °C. Due to the extremely high resistivity of the sapphire and the excellent thermal stability of the LiTaO3/sapphire interface, the IL of the CPW and the impedance ratio (in addition to Bode-Q) of the SH-SAW on the LTOS are maintained well even at 150 °C, while those on the LTOI seriously deteriorate. Of these, the impedance attenuation of LTOS-SAW at the antiresonant frequency is only 3.7 dB at 150 °C, whereas that of LTOI-SAW reaches 9.6 dB, demonstrating excellent temperature stability of the LTOS substrate's radio frequency (RF) performance. Overall, the SAW devices on LTOS substrates show great potential for temperature-sensitive and low-loss applications in RF wireless communications.

RESUMEN

BACKGROUND AND AIM: To develop and validate a novel machine learning-based radiomic model (RM) for diagnosing high bleeding risk esophageal varices (HREV) in patients with cirrhosis. METHODS: A total of 796 qualified participants were enrolled. In training cohort, 218 cirrhotic patients with mild esophageal varices (EV) and 240 with HREV RM were included to training and internal validation groups. Additionally, 159 and 340 cirrhotic patients with mild EV and HREV RM, respectively, were used for external validation. Interesting regions of liver, spleen, and esophagus were labeled on the portal venous-phase enhanced CT images. RM was assessed by area under the receiver operating characteristic curves (AUROC), sensitivity, specificity, calibration and decision curve analysis (DCA). RESULTS: The AUROCs for mild EV RM in training and internal validation were 0.943 and 0.732, sensitivity and specificity were 0.863, 0.773 and 0.763, 0.763, respectively. The AUROC, sensitivity, and specificity were 0.654, 0.773 and 0.632, respectively, in external validation. Interestingly, the AUROCs for HREV RM in training and internal validation were 0.983 and 0.834, sensitivity and specificity were 0.948, 0.916 and 0.977, 0.969, respectively. The related AUROC, sensitivity and specificity were 0.736, 0.690 and 0.762 in external validation. Calibration and DCA indicated RM had good performance. Compared with Baveno VI and its expanded criteria, HREV RM had a higher accuracy and net reclassification improvements that were as high as 49.0% and 32.8%. CONCLUSION: The present study developed a novel non-invasive RM for diagnosing HREV in cirrhotic patients with high accuracy. However, this RM still needs to be validated by a large multi-center cohort.

RESUMEN

INTRODUCTION: To investigate the characteristics of ß7high CD4+ T cells during HIV-1 infection and the relationship between ß7high CD4+ T cells and HIV-1 disease progress. METHODS: This study enrolled 124 HIV-1-infected patients, including 80 treatment naïve patients (TNs), 41 patients who underwent antiretroviral therapy (ARTs), and three long-term no progression patients (LTNPs). Nineteen matched healthy subjects were included as controls (HCs). The characteristics and frequency of ß7high CD4+ T cells were analyzed using flow cytometry. An in vitro culture experiment was used to study HIV-1 infection of ß7high CD4+ T cells. Real-time polymerase chain reaction was performed to quantify HIV-1 DNA and CA-RNA levels. RESULTS: The frequency of ß7high CD4+ T in the peripheral blood was significantly decreased and negatively correlated with disease progression during chronic HIV-1 infection. A large proportion of ß7high CD4+ T cells showed Th17 phenotype. Furthermore, ß7high CD4+ T cells were preferentially infected by HIV-1 in vitro and in vivo. There were no significant differences of HIV-1 DNA, and CA-RNA levels between ß7high CD4+ T and ß7low CD4+ T subsets in HIV-1 infected individuals after antiviral treatment. CONCLUSION: The ß7high CD4+ T cells were negatively correlated with disease progression during chronic HIV-1 infection. ß7high CD4+ T cells are susceptible to infection with HIV-1 and HIV-1 latent cells.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the association between the lipid profiles and coronary heart disease (CHD) in nondiabetic patients younger than 65 years of age. METHOD: 424 patients were enrolled in this study from January 2019 to December 2020. All the patients were screened for clinically indicated coronary angiography. They were divided into two groups according to the coronary angiography results: 340 patients with the presence of CHD (at least one coronary artery stenosis ≥50%) were classified as the CHD group, and the rest with the absence of CHD comprised the normal group. The demographic data and lipid profiles were compared. RESULT: CHD was higher in males than females (84.5% vs. 62.2%, P < 0.001). In the CHD group, the level of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) was lower (P < 0.001), while the triglyceride (TG)/HDL-C ratio was higher (P=0.022). No significant differences were shown between the two groups in terms of age, family history of CHD, hypertension, and the levels of TC, TG, and LDL-C. Gender differences were further explored. In men, except for the level of HDL-C which was significantly lower in the CHD group than that in the normal group (P=0.017), parameters were comparable. A binary logistic regression model further indicated that HDL-C was associated with CHD (OR = 0.137, 95%CI: 0.031-0.594, P=0.008). Also, with the increase of the number of coronary artery with lesions, the levels of HDL-C decreased significantly in men. In women, no differences were observed between the CHD group and normal group. CONCLUSION: HDL-C may be inversely associated with the risk of CHD in young nondiabetes patients, especially in men. More research is needed to confirm it.

RESUMEN

The construction and demolition waste disposal industry plays a vital role in improving the utilisation rate of construction and demolition waste worldwide, however, too little work has been devoted to the industrial economic analysis. To explore the economic pattern and promote the development of the construction and demolition waste disposal industry, the spatial autocorrelation and influencing factors were analysed, and a temporal development process was evaluated. Spatial measurement results show that the spatial autocorrelation of the construction and demolition waste disposal industry is significant at a 1% level. Per capita GDP, annual yield of construction and demolition waste, research and development level, transportation development level, human capital and education level positively affect the construction and demolition waste disposal industry. Conversely marketisation level negatively influences the development of the construction and demolition waste disposal industry. Temporal analysis results reveal that development of the construction and demolition waste disposal industry accelerated significantly in 2016 and increasing by 35.79% because of a policy stimulus. Suggestions on regional management plans and targeted policies for special cities were proposed. A novel perspective for investigating the C&D waste disposal industry was developed, which may be very helpful for researchers from other countries to study the agglomeration effect in various waste disposal industries. The findings can contribute to the development plan of the C&D waste disposal industry, and be of value to investors to make investment and site planning.

RESUMEN

Urban development generates large amounts of construction and demolition waste, and the enactment of various policies is an important way to increase resource efficiency. It is urgent to analyse the choices and effects of construction and demolition waste disposal policies around the world. This study analyses and compares the implementation effects of various construction and demolition waste disposal policies and provides suggestions on the selection and formulation of different disposal method policies. A BP neural network and an agent-based model are used to construct a simulation model for the implementation effects of construction and demolition waste disposal policies. The average acceptance willingness is analysed for the three disposal methods of reduction, reuse and recycling under the different policies based on questionnaire survey data. Simulation results show that the implementation effect of the incentive policy as a single policy is superior, and the comprehensive implementation effect of the guidance-incentive-mandatory policy as a combined policy is superior. The implementation effect of combined policies is better than that of single policies. The policies suitable for different disposal methods are inconsistent. Information interaction can effectively improve the implementation effects of different construction and demolition waste disposal policies, especially for single policies. This study innovatively compares the various construction and demolition waste disposal policies and explain the interaction during their implementation. The findings can help the government formulate policies at different stages of construction and demolition waste management and provide a new approach to policy simulation research.

RESUMEN

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic systemic autoimmune disease. In this study, the role of microRNA-340-5p in rheumatoid arthritis was investigated. qRT-PCR was used to detect the expression of microRNA-340-5p in serums, synovial tissues, and fibroblast-like synoviocytes from patients and healthy participants. Cell proliferation rate, cell cycle and apoptotic cell numbers were measured by CCK-8 and flow cytometry assays. The expression of pro-inflammation factors was determined by ELISA. Our data showed that the expression of microRNA-340-5p was greatly suppressed in rheumatoid arthritis serums, synovial tissues and rheumatoid arthritis-fibroblast-like synoviocytes compared to that in healthy controls. Over-expression of microRNA-340-5p greatly suppressed cell proliferation, promoted cell apoptosis, and suppressed the expression of inflammation factors in rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast-like synoviocytes. Additionally, STAT3 was a target of microRNA-340-5. Overexpression of STAT3 could reverse the outcome of microRNA-340-5p on cell proliferation and apoptosis in rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast-like synoviocytes. The findings in our study demonstrated that microRNA-340-5p may serve as a potential target for therapeutic direction for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

RESUMEN

A quantum scheme for cloud data sharing based on proxy re-encryption is proposed. The user Alice stores the cipher-text of her data on cloud data center. When Alice wants to share her data with another user Bob, Alice is called the delegator and Bob is called the delegatee. The cloud service provider (called the proxy) can convert the delegator's cipher-text into the delegatee's cipher-text without decrypting the former, so that the delegatee can get the plain-text of Alice's data with his private key. The proxy cannot obtain the plain-text of the user's data stored on cloud data center. Delegator in the protocol should have the ability of producing Bell states, performing Bell basis and Z-basis measurements, and storing qubits. The quantum requirements for the delegatee are reduced. The delegatee needs to have the ability of reflecting and performing Z-basis measurement. One secret at a time (one-time one-pad) is theoretically implemented, especially when the same data is shared multiple times. The anti-selection plain-text attack security and the anti-selective cipher-text attack security are realized. Fine-granularity secret data sharing is achieved flexibly.
